8 Guaranteed Ways to Get The Girl

get the girl

So you’ve met a pretty cool girl, she’s funny, cute and doesn’t seem like a total-psycho. You actually like her. But you don’t want to scare her off, or be friend-zoned indefinitely.

I can think of only a handful of men in my life who exhibit every single one of the traits below, every time I meet them, and it’s amazing how they can attract women like a moth to a flame. Charisma, likeability and genuine charm are amongst their best characteristics, but it’s their innate ability to attract women which I really admire.

So what’s their secret? Want to know how to act around girls, how to keep them interested and how to get them to like you? How do you get the girl?

Guys – this one’s for you.

Make an effort with her friends/family

This seems like an obvious one, but it’s amazing how when around friends and family, men can turn into a shell of themselves. Make the effort and it will pay dividends in the long run – you’ll win major brownie points. Friend and family endorsement means alot, so win them over and they’ll do the hard work (convincing her you’re a catch) for you.

Exude confidence – without being cocky or arrogant

Confidence is always attractive – even if you have to pretend: slow down, smile and make eye contact. You got this.

Be passionate about something

It doesn’t matter what it is: kayaking, juggling, watching cult-horror films, just have something that really makes you happy. This is what makes you interesting, and not seem like you have the personality of a wet fish!

Hearing the passion in a person’s voice when they talk about something they love is so attractive – we then innately want you to talk about us in the same way.

Ask her questions – and genuinely listen to the answer

Make her feel like she’s the only one in the room. Show interest in what she’s saying, really listen and ask follow-up questions to prove you heard. She will appreciate it!

If you’re just asking the question for the sake of making conversation, she’ll realise and think you just don’t care.

Don’t take yourself too seriously

It’s okay to let your guard down and be goofy. If you can make a joke and laugh at yourself, it puts us more at ease than treading on eggshells in case we offend you.

Women rate humour as a consistent top factor which we look for in a guy. Prove your wit and you’re in.

Stories with slight self-deprecation show that you’re comfortable in your own skin, and resilient enough to laugh at awful situations you’ve found yourself in.

Mind games aren’t on the agenda

Be honest and straightforward. No one likes a manipulator who deliberately only messages late at night, or when bored. Don’t make her feel crazy with hot and cold behaviour.

Keep her on her toes

Tease her a little bit – make a joke –  don’t be afraid to flirtatiously disagree with her, or tease her unique music taste. This way you’ll stomp out any tension and you’ll both relax.

Also – have your own life. Knowing you’re not available 24/7 is attractive. It proves that she has to earn your time, and will feel more of an achievement when she does. No one likes a guy who sticks to you like cling-film.

Surprise her by remembering something she mentioned in passing, or something which makes her happy

Hair or back stroking. Enough said.

Go on then, go out there any get the girl!
