Welcome to the real Digital Revolution… British sex toy company Hot Octopuss unveils DiGiT, its first wearable finger vibe that puts orgasms at your fingertips!

Last week, Hot Octopuss launched their first wearable, lipstick-sized finger vibe, DiGiT.
Designed to feel like part of you, DiGiT curves seamlessly around your fingers to become an extension of your body. Subtle, unobtrusive yet incredibly powerful!

Too often we remain silent, unable to seek out the sex – including masturbation – that’s most enjoyable for us without fear of judgement.

Given the openness with which we women talk about our personal lives, the act of ‘self pleasure’ is almost conspicuous in its absence from the conversation. But why is it so important?

Self pleasure is about understanding our own bodies, knowing what works and even more importantly, what doesn’t. If we do not know how best to satisfy ourselves how can we guide our partner?

By avoiding the subject and refusing to discuss it, with even our closest friends, we make it taboo, this feeds our feelings of guilt and shame which further prevent us from talking about what is, in reality, a healthy and completely normal act.

So onto the Hot Octopuss DiGiT:

DiGiT

Packaging:

The DiGiT comes in a really lovely small red box, and is accompanied by a handy little storage bag to keep the product and charging cable safely together. It’s neatly packaged and not too in-your-face.

Much like the DiGiT itself, the packaging is small, concise and well put-together.

The Look:

The DiGiT is a sleek finger vibe, which looks quite unlike anything I’ve seen before. It is lipstick sized, so not overwhelming and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was to hold, with your fingers through the two rings!

The DiGiT can be worn on both hands, which is great for lefties and righties, as well as for couples who want to use it in addition to their normal routine. The finger base is translucent, and is worn like two rings. It’s surprisingly easy to hold and really does become an extension of your own hand.

It looks classy and subtle, which is great for newbies who may be more intimidated by a larger toy.

The Feel:

DiGiT is made from skin-safe silicone and does not contain phthalates or latex. This is something which I always look for in a pleasure product, as there are many cheap, damaging materials used in the (amazingly) unregulated sex toy industry which we need to keep an eye out for.

There are two buttons on the left side (increase and decrease), and the on/off and level changer button on the right.

The silicone is soft and smooth, which is great for skin contact. The harder plastic used for the rings is smooth and comfy.

This product is to be used with water-based lubricants only.

The Vibes:

The first thing I notice is that this is one powerful finger vibe. It will genuinely leave you feeling super relaxed.

The best way to describe it is a rumble-type vibration, and with the different levels, can get really strong. This is great for anyone who usually struggles to orgasm by clitoral stimulation. The vibes lessen when you push against your skin, compared to when holding in the air. This adds to the comfort, and allows you to explore what’s best for your orgasm.

Although powerful, it’s very quiet – great especially if you live with others!

All in all, it’s small, it’s concise and gives you a variety of options to mix things up, whether it be for solo or couple sex. I wouldn’t say it’s the making of super-messy, loud-screaming, crazy-orgasmic sex, but it certainly hits the sweet-spot well, in a controlled and almost cute way.

Why I Like It:

With a classy and intimate design, rechargeable, cordless power, waterproof, safe silicone material, quiet but strong vibes, a variety of levels and a comfortable finger loop, the DiGiT will appeal to a wide audience. The storage bag is a lovely addition.

The DiGiT is a great starter pleasure product for anyone new to using sex toys, but also powerful enough for those who want a more advanced tease.

For £59, it’s a little on the pricier side, however for a sleek design, which is unobtrusive and purse-sized, it’s worth a shot if you’re looking for something small, classy and unique.
