From “Eve’s Blog” in 2014 to “Never Settle” in 2015 to “Settled” in 2023, evegreenow.com has morphed to match where I am in my life. Now we’re celebrating 11 years of incredible memories, awards, content and loyal followers!
11 is my lucky number, it’s the day of my birthday and like Taylor loves 13, I love 11. So here we are, celebrating 11 years of evegreenow.com! I also forgot to celebrate 10 years due to a tumultuous first year with my son – so there you go!
Eve’s Blog (2014-2015)
Rewind to 2014, in my third year at uni, evegreenow.com wasn’t branded as such, but rather Eve’s Blog (revolutionary name, right?) and I was just writing about whatever I felt like. I was a regular lifestyle and opinion columnist for Aberystwyth University’s Newspaper “The Courier”, and that spurred me on to write more. I was fresh out of a 4 year relationship, and frankly not very prepared for the dating world. I had to learn from scratch all the things which I’ve now written so much about: ghosting, commitment-phobes, chasing someone who doesn’t really care about you, and new dating apps.
Come 2015, I was living in London, working in Soho, and absolutely loving life. It was then when I knew Eve’s Blog just didn’t cut it anymore: I wanted something new for evegreenow.com.
Never Settle (2015-2023)
Then we had 8 wonderful years as Never Settle, which had a few “looks” to it through the years. It was this portion of time where I would say evegreenow.com had it’s “heyday” – nominated for and winning many awards, collaborating with huge partners including Boots, Lovehoney, Lloyds Pharmacy, LELO and Ann Summers to name a few, writing in partnership for an international matchmaking dating agency, being featured by BBC Stories and in Blogosphere Magazine, it was honestly brilliant.
It wasn’t always easy, with plenty of criticism and judgment for the blog, but I’m so glad I continued through it all, giving a voice to guest writers and genuinely helping people with their love lives.
It was this time that I also formed some really strong friendships with fellow bloggers, finding myself in a real community of likeminded people. I also gained some of my most loyal followers during this era of evegreenow.com, lots of whom still read my posts today – so a huge thank you to you for always supporting me.
Settled (2023-present)
We find ourselves in 2025 as “Settled” after rebranding in 2023 to keep up with where I was in my life: married, pregnant and settled. I was no longer dating, so it felt weirdly wrong to write about it. Now, I write about parenthood, relationship psychology and women’s health, topics which are still really important to me. I feel a renewed sense of optimism for evegreenow.com going into 2026 and beyond, with loads of ideas for posts half-written and up my sleeve.
It’s harder to find the time these days, whilst being a full time mum, but I love that I still get a kick out of sitting down and typing out my thoughts.
I can’t believe it’s been so long on this journey, thank you for coming along for the ride and, as always, taking the time to read this post.
