Loud Vibrator A Buzz Kill? Try Whisper Quiet | Ann Summers Whisper Review

AD | GIFTED

A common worry I hear from women when chatting about sex toys, is that they worry about being heard using them.

Many of us have lived, or live, with family, friends, or in a house share. It can be a great experience, and sometimes necessary if you’re saving money. However, when it comes to solo sex – things can get a little tricky. Silence really is key.

Think about it: you’re getting into a nice relaxed mood, ready to indulge in some fun, then you switch on your vibrator and BUZZZZZZ! You hear a movement from downstairs – your housemate getting up – bollocks… You scrabble around to try and find the stop button. Nightmare!

It’s not an ideal scenario, I think we can all agree. So what’s the solution to achieving plentiful, casual orgasms, without disturbing your chi?

Introducing, Ann Summer’s Whisper range.

Whisper quiet?

Ann Summers’ quietest toy to date. The noise intensity is just 35db which is literally the same noise level as a whisper (or a fly), so it’s specifically designed to keep your private play just that: private.

They’ve designed the travel-size range to disguise your pleasure with complete confidence as the volume blends into your surroundings. All there’s left for you to do is let go, and enjoy the experience at your discretion.

Let’s see how the Whisper range reviews…

The Packaging

When opening the Whisper range, you receive a small paper information leaflet, the black USB charging wire, a rose gold padlock for the bag (great for keeping your toy private!) and a lovely faux leather, silky lined storage bag.

The bag is much more luxurious than other storage bags provided with pleasure toys, which are usually thinner material bags. The packaging also means the Whisper range could work nicely as a gift or a makeup bag.

I like the unusual packaging – instead of a clunky box (no matter how premium looking), there is barely any wastage in terms of packaging. There is no excess pamphlets or packaging.

The pinky purple bold colour of the whole product, matches the Ann Summers branding, which you can also see in the Moregasm, Magnetize and other ranges which Ann Summers have brought out.

The magnetic USB charger is unusual in that it clicks onto the side of the toys to charge. Just need to make sure not to knock it whilst charging otherwise it’ll stop. There is a red light when the products are charging, so you know it’s working all fine.

The Look

The Whisper Vibrator and Rabbit are purple and gold, which gives a strong premium look to the products.

The Whisper Rabbit is a miniature version of the Moregasm+ Rampant Rabbit, with it’s iconic Ann Summers shape. Both the vibrator and rabbit are 4inches insertable length; with the vibrator 1 inch and the rabbit 1.25 inch in diameter.

I do like the look of the products, and they fit in will with my collection. They’re also perfect for anyone starting out with their first pleasure toys: they’re not intimidating or too large. They’re petite and yet still a quality product for novices and experts alike.

The Feel

Soft body-safe, pink silicone feels silky soft to touch. The gold coloured plastic cover on the end of the product is simple but effective in adding an extra element to the toy.

The Vibrator is hard enough for impact but not rock solid like many bullets or other vibrators. It’s flesh like feel adds to the pleasurable feel.

The Rabbit is flexible and bendy, without being non-impactful. You can use the shaft for an intense massage and the ears for powerful clitoral stimulation. Rabbit ears are soft but rigid enough for clitoral pleasure.

Of course, as always I like to ensure the safety of the products we put in our bodies. The Whisper range is body-safe — free from phthalates, latex and BPA. The silicone is easy to clean and safe for use on such an intimate area.

The Vibes (and more importantly, the sound)

Okey smokes, down to business. How does the Whisper Range perform?

When you turn on each of the products, you will notice the distinct sound. It’s not loud, but a low toned buzz. The good news: It’s louder when you’re not using it, and when you are, it’s very quiet and virtually inaudible.

The vibes are quite rumbly, and the vibrator is louder than the rabbit. The feel is powerful, for sure, despite it’s petite size.

The Whisper range, in my opinion, is no quieter than the Ann Summers Flex , but definitely quieter than many of my other toys, including the Ann Summers Magnetize Rabbit. It’s a great deal quieter than most other toys, so I’d have no qualms in recommending for it’s reliability when sharing a house!

The quiet nature doesn’t detract from the powerful vibes. There are 10 levels of intensity, which you can increase to achieve your fully satisfying orgasms easily, over and over again.

My personal preference of the two is the petite rabbit, the clitoral stimulation, in addition to the shaft rumbles, allows for a more toe-curling climax!

Why I like it

I really like the Whisper Range. It is quiet, and I definitely prefer the rabbit to the vibrator. The main aim of the game: orgasms will be achieved, and in relative silence!

You won’t have to worry about the buzz, just maybe make sure you don’t get too carried away yourself! 😉

The full Whisper Range is available now for purchase with the RRP of £50 for the Whisper Quiet Vibrator and £65 for the Whisper Quiet G-Spot Petite Rabbit Vibrator.

All opinions are my own. The Ann Summers Whisper Range was gifted to me and this post was written in collaboration with
