Thank you to Isobel, from I Read Before Bedtime for the nomination of the Liebster Award! Isobel is a fantastic freelance writer/blogger whom I’ve known for many years, she writes about all-sorts: food, films, politics, you name it, she can do it!
So on to the Liebster Award!
What is it?
The award is a way to be discovered but also to connect and support the blogging community. A great idea in promoting your own blog and others.
The idea is that you answer 11 questions from a fellow blogger and then nominate 5-11 more to share the love. [Read Rules ]
Here are my answers to Isobel’s questions:
1. How would your best friend describe you?
I reckon she’d called me a complete and utter romantic, say I’m a little bit ditzy and yet really hardworking (maybe…?).
2. Which post should a first-time visitor read on your blog?
GAHH that’s a tough one – I guess it depends what their romantic circumstance is, if they’re amidst a break-up, then: What To Do Immediately After A Breakup
But for something more relationship-driven: 10 Things All Women Need To Know About Men
OR something completely different: It’s Okay To Not Be Okay
3. Comfort or style?
I’d love to be one of those girls who could just rock up in a comfy jumper and jeans, hair easily done up in a loose bun, and looks like a superstar. Sadly that is not me… I’d love to be comfy but I would have to say style – I wear makeup religiously and generally wear shoes which make my feet hurt…

Um YAY. Any pizza is good pizza, including a deliciously steaming Hawaiian with thick chunks of ham and fresh pineapple… mmm… scrumptious!
5. What’s your go-to trick to de-stress?
I’m really bad at relaxing nowadays – I get really fidgetty and always feel like something has to be done. Generally I sleep… alot! A nice hot bath or just sitting down and watching a film generally does the trick!
6. What does a dream day in your life look like?
Wake up late morning, go to a nice white sandy beach and relax under a giant parasol, on a four-poster beach bed, with a good book and plenty of cocktails…
7. What’s your guilty pleasure?
I love Celine Dion. And Made in Chelsea/TOWIE/Love Island/Geordie Shore…….
8. Have you been watching Love Island 2017??
UM YES. Have been dying since it finished —- LOVE Chris to bits, and Kem, so pretty happy Amber and Kem made it ❤️
9. Early bird or night owl?
I hate the mornings – If I could lie-in everyday, I would. Definitely a night owl!

11. Who’s cuter, Prince George or River Rose Blackstock?
Although River Rose has extraordinarily cute chubby cheeks, I would have to say Prince George. He’s a real iced gem.

Which Lord of the Rings character would you be if we were all in Middle Earth?
Now, don’t judge me (I even work in film!) * Shock Horror * I’ve never watched Lord of the Rings 🙈 However upon doing a little research, I would probably go for Lady Haleth cause she sounds like a pretty strong woman!
